Letting Go of 2014


Letting go of the little things in 2014 will allow for the BIG things to happen in 2015.

How much stress are you carrying around? Do you feel burdened by life's circumstances and emotional issues? Becoming more grounded and happy starts with letting go of worry and stress.

I learned this in my own journey, through overcoming a breakdown, healing myself from depression, and walking away from a thought process that was no longer serving me, and creating new ones that would allow me to say hey, all that I have done up until now, I have done. What's next? I had to do some serious letting go so that I could be the life coach that I am today, the friend and woman that I am today, the partner that I am today. I had to let go of a lot of things to be the person that I am today. Physically, spiritually and emotionally, I had to learn how to let go of the person I thought I should be in order to be the person I really wanted to be. Letting go of anything in life can be a little scary, but it can also be an amazing act of self-love. It takes commitment and action. (YIKES) Letting go of my worries and stress made a difference for me; of course I still slip in and out of some of my stress dress from time to time, but I've found that more often than not I can choose the thoughts feelings and emotions and decide when to let go.

I created a little this list as a good reminder of what I need to strive for each day in order to reach unlimited happiness. I'm sharing just a few here with you that are my go-to's:

  • Let go of all thoughts that don't make you feel empowered and strong.

  • Let go of feeling guilty for doing what you truly want to do.

  • Let go of the fear of the unknown; take one small step and watch the path reveal itself.

  • Let go of regrets; at one point in your life, that “whatever" was exactly what you wanted.

  • Let go of worrying; worrying is like praying for what you don't want.

  • Let go of blaming anyone for anything; be accountable for your own life. If you don't like something, you have two choices, accept it or change it.

  • Let go of thinking you are damaged; you matter, and the world needs you just as you are.

  • Let go of thinking your dreams are not important; always follow your heart.

  • Let go of being the “go-to person" for everyone, all the time; stop blowing yourself off and take care of yourself first … because you matter.

  • Let go of thinking everyone else is happier, more successful or better off than you. You are right where you need to be. Your journey is unfolding perfectly for you.

Letting go gives you permission to embrace what you truly want even if you aren't quite sure what that is. I must point out that I know you are thinking that you can wait until next week, that it's the holiday's and you aren't quite back into a routine. (I get that bullsh*t) I've been saying it since Thanksgiving. Stop making excuses- they suck and they aren't helping you. * A little test to know whether or not you should join me Saturday. Can look back on 2014 and say I should have or I would have or I could have, only if I.... I had an amazing one on one with a client last night and what she said sent a wave through me. She said if I had confidence, if I didn't self-doubt, if I trusted myself I would make stronger decisions. I just want to move forward knowing that I am making Strong Decisions! Letting go of the 'stuff' will allow you to do just that! Happy New Year to each and every one of YOU!
